Responsible for writing unit and stress tests against REST API to consume and produce XML and JSON data sets. Collaborate with existing development team to implement fixes / upgrades / enhancements to existing and future J2EE applications.
Create test plan to stress and verify integrity of existing and future REST API.
Write JUNIT (or similar framework) tests against REST API
Write scenario-based stress tests against high traffic web application
Collaborate with existing development team to update an existing distributed J2EE server architecture and design application
Work with existing development team to further implement J2EE / REST-based application
Consistently meet deadlines and schedules by working closely with the production team in a SCRUM environment
3+ years’ experience with application quality assurance
Experience with high-traffic, web-based, application stress testing using JMeter or similar
Knowledge of object-oriented programming in language such as C++ or Java
Experience with REST service architecture, XML and JSON data representation
Experience writing and maintaining JUNIT test environment
Familiar with Agile development lifecycles
